Tonica, the duo of drummer and producer Yisrael Nachum and pianist Avi Adrian, arrives at AMAMA for a special performance built entirely around improvised, live, immersive, and unpredictable music. Yisrael Nachum, one of Israel’s most sought-after drummers, has performed over the years with artists including Yoni Rechter, Gidi Gov, Shem Tov Levi, Yehudit Ravitz, and many others. Avi Adrian is a pianist, composer, and arranger from the Jerusalem Academy of Music who has performed with international jazz legends such as Dave Liebman and Adam Nussbaum.
