Ori Avni, guitarist and composer of meditative instrumental music, arrives with his trio for the premiere performance of new material from the upcoming album, “Bench, River, Dream.” Avni’s music draws from the influences of Bill Frisell, new wave, and the distinctly Israeli guitar sound of Ehud Banai, coming together in a personal musical language that blends jazz, rock, and Israeli music into a deep instrumental journey. Joined by Shahar Haziza on drums and Gilad Abro on bass, the trio presents original music that has received support from Mifal HaPais and the ACUM Creation Grant.
